Its non- profit school.Parijat Academy was started in 2003 with four chilldren in a small room with tinroof and bamboo wall. Parijat means heavenly flower in Assamese.

Note Book computer ( small laptop) donated by Alpana and Ram Sarangapani, Houston, Texas, USA. for the NBS library at Parijat Academy. Children of Parijat Academy will be able communicate with this laptop with others.
