Children Exam

Annual Exam was over on 12th December. Student progress report will be given on 30th December. The new session will start from January second week. Before that one class room have to make within short period and that will be for class X student.
On coming 26th December District Children Festival will be held at Parijat Academy day long programme. More 700 children will be attend in this programme.

Vocational Education at Parijat Academy

Vocational Education for girls at Parijat Academy ( tailoring and embroidery) as Socially Useful Productive Work. This is part of formal education. Six machine are donated by Najmun Nisa Trust.

14th November 2009/ Children's Day

On 14th November 2009 Parijat Academy celebrate Children's Day. On the ocassion of this day Health Check programme was organised at Parijat Academy by Indian Academy of Pediatrics.

Volunteering at Parijat Academy:
Prof.Mrs Margaret Andrews from Canada coming to do volunteer at Parijat Academy to teach the children of Parijat English. She came for three weeks. She enjoyed teaching the children of Parijat Academy. She is 77 years old. She was teaching History in Washington State University,USA.

Children Cultural Expression

Parijat Academy organised Children Cultural Festival on the occasion of India Independence Day on 15th August, 2009 at Parijat with support from Smile Foundation. The program begin with Indian National Flag Hoisting in the morning. Children came with school uniform. After falg hoisting start children open session preside by a child name Achyut Krishna Rongshal class V as President of the session and Child speaker name Bitupon Medhi calss V and Anjumoni Teron class VI. After follow Children Cultural program. In bwteen 9: 30 - 11:00 am it was heavy raining. Some others invited guest couls not come. More than 400 children attend in the program.

Parijat Academy organised six days training on Chalk pencil making at Parijat Academy for the student of Class VIII, IX.
This give idea to student about factory model.

Parijat Weaving Centre

Parijat Weaving Centre: This programme is encouaraging the village woman to augment their income through weaving. Girls student of Parijat Academy those are in higher section are encouargement to learn and develop the weaving skill so that they can start their own weaving project.
This is beginning stage, we have to long way. So we need Handloom expart who can give us guide to improve better.

Volunteer

Name Dhaujee Kelly had come from USA to do volunteer at Parijat Academy for two month ( May- July 2009)during her college summer vacation. She teach English, Maths , art work, computer in Primary section. She conduct teacher workshop for our school teacher with another volunteer name Promona. During her stay she look after the health care part of the school. She has good experience in Nursing thats helping our school children a lot. They also arrange Summer Festival at school with school children.
